Where are my projects stored?
Garfi projects are portable .gvideo packages. You choose where to save them and can move or reopen them with the system file browser.
How do automatic captions work?
Automatic captions use Apple Speech Recognition after you grant permission. Recognition can happen on the device when supported; otherwise Apple may process the audio. Captions remain editable before export.
Why does Garfi request access to photos, speech, or the microphone?
Photo access imports media or saves an exported video, Speech Recognition creates optional captions, and microphone access records an optional voice-over. Garfi asks only when you use the related feature.
Which export options are available?
Garfi can export MOV or MP4 using H.264 or HEVC. Available resolutions and frame rates depend on the source media, device capabilities, and free storage.
